What are they thinking?  As a person works, reads, or walks there is a relaxation of intention.  Thoughts are hinted at as expressions flit across the face.  Hand gesture reveals tension or relaxation.  There is an inhibition of psychology when a person is unobserved.  I seek to capture that moment in paint, charcoal or pastel.
